Horses first.
Photography second.
My love of horses came long before my love of photography. I think that's what makes photographing them feel so natural.
I don't believe horses need to be perfectly posed or perfectly behaved to make a beautiful photograph. The best images usually happen somewhere in between — when everyone relaxes and simply enjoys being together.
My sessions are relaxed, unhurried and guided by natural light. Whether we're wandering around the paddock, chasing the last light of the afternoon or documenting a competition day, I'm there to capture the story as it actually happens.
